A domestic disturbance in Chatham has left one man with several charges.
Police responded to the area of Murray Street and Princess Street over the weekend.
Authorities say a man was found in possession of a large knife, and investigators believed he had assaulted a woman.
The accused was arrested and charged with assault causing bodily harm, assault, weapons dangerous, and resisting arrest
He was taken to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
