The Wallaceburg Lakers suffered a 7-6 overtime loss in Wheatley Saturday but managed to pick up their first point of this PJHL season.
The Sharks led 3-0 after one period but the Lakers came to life scoring three times in the second and three times in the space of just over 3 minutes in the third.
They actually led 6-5 at that point before the Sharks squared the affair with 35 seconds left and the goaltender on the bench.
The Sharks then won it 1:57 into overtime on a goal by Braedon Caetano.
Austin Bentley had a pair for the Lakers with singles to Brian Gaevert, Myles Fraser, Ryan Nicholson, and Zander Wright.
The Lakers remain in the bottom of the standings 9 games into the schedule.
Their next chance for win number one comes Wednesday night at home against the Essex 73″s.
