Four people have been seriously hurt following a weekend crash.
Early Saturday morning Lambton OPP were called to Cameron Road in Courtright to investigate a single vehicle accident.
A large SUV failed to negotiate a turn, left the road and severed a hydro pole.
The impact was so violent the body of the SUV separated from the chassis.
The driver, a 27 year old man from Oil Springs was extricated from the vehicle by the Alvinston fire Department.
A 55 year old man from Plympton and a 47 year old Petrolia woman were both ejected from the SUV.
A 4th person was able to walk away from the crash.
The investigation is on going.
