A 50 year Walpole Island woman is facing drug and weapons charges following a traffic stop this week.

On May 3rd Lambton OPP received calls about a woman driving erratically on Hill Street in Corunna.

Just before 6 am police pulled over the vehicle, and during the search found a syringe containing a blue liquid believed to be fentanyl. 

A further search  turned up a quantity of suspected meth, along with a long gun and several rounds of ammunition. 

The charges also include driving without a license , and failing to stop for a red light.
