More than a week after two bodies were discovered at a home in Petrolia, Lambton OPP have released an update.
Police made a welfare check at a home on Portland Street May 17th, and found the bodies.
Postmortems have now been conducted on a 63 year old man, and an 84 year old female, and more pathology tests are planned.
The Lambton OPP’s Crime Unit continues to investigate along with the Criminal Investigations Branch.
Police believe it was an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the public.
