Time is running out for a chance to win more than $42,000 through a holiday 50/50 draw in support of Chatham-Kent’s hospital.

Ticket sales for the Igniting Healthcare Holiday 50/50 Fundraiser hosted by the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation (CKHAF)  will come to a close on Thursday at noon.

As of Wednesday, the 50/50 draw has raised a total of over $84,000, with proceeds going towards “the areas of greatest need” at the Chatham and Wallaceburg sites of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.

“The more tickets we sell, the more money that will go towards the purchase of life-saving equipment, facility upgrades, and program innovation at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance,” the foundation said in a news release.

The fundraiser marks the first time the CKHAF has held a 50/50 draw during the holidays. The foundation’s last Igniting Healthcare 50/50 FUNdraiser launched in the spring raised a grand total of $282,580.

Tickets for the holiday 50/50 can be purchased online until 12 p.m. on Thursday by clicking here, or in person at the CKHAF office located at 9 Ursuline Ave in Chatham.
