Today is the final day to get tickets for this weekend’s Festival of Giving.
The annual fundraiser for the Children’s Treatment Centre is going virtual once again this year, but will still include a live auction, entertainment, and more.
“We’re really looking forward to this Saturday. If you want to get on the live auction you’ve got to submit a form ahead of time to say what you want to bid on,” Foundation Executive Director Mike Genge says. “We need to know that you want us to call you so you can bid.”
The live auction includes a home renovation package, a bourbon and scotch tasting experience, $5000 shopping spree at Leon’s, and more.
Bidding is already underway for the online auction with hundreds of more items up for grabs.
All proceeds support programs and services for thousands of children across Chatham-Kent.
“We haven’t shut down during the pandemic,” Genge says. “The kids are still going to the Centre, we still have the high needs and in some cases more than normal. We need these funds to be able to help them out.”
As an added bonus, everyone who buys a ticket gets a 1 in 650 chance to win a BMW Z3.
To access the online auction, text AUCTION to 226-806-1778 and follow the instructions in the response.
