Today marks the final day to vote for a local project in the running for the David Suzuki Future Ground prize.
The Brickworks Community is the first project for the Opportunity Villages Community Land Trust, a federally registered non-profit group established to help individuals and families transition from rental accommodation to home ownership.
The development just off Grand Avenue East n Chatham is one of 10 finalists for the $5000 grand price. There’s also a People’s choice award worth $2500.
The winners will be announced Wednesday evening in an online event.
