A local organization and one of its late employees is being honoured.
Community Living Chatham-Kent has been given the Making a Difference Award.
The honour recognizes the memory of Lesa Jansen, a Community Living employee “whose efforts contributed to improving the quality of support provided by Developmental Service professionals throughout Ontario.”
The award was presented to Community Living officials and Jansen’s family at the Provincial Network Human Resource Forum earlier this month.
The Provincial Network also presented CLC-K with a $1,000 donation.
