Laura De Lima
Laura De Lima, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully at Fairfield Park Sunday January 25, 2015. Laura is the daughter of Manuel and Maria Da Costa. Beloved wife of the late Manuel De Lima. Loving mother of Joseph (Lynda) De Lima of Dresden, Fernando (Margarida) of Windsor, Carlos (the late Evelyn) of Windsor, Maria (Willy) Lefebvre of Wallaceburg, Edward (Dianne) De Lima of Sombra, Lenore (Scott) Crowder of Montreal, and Louisa (Jeff) Vermast of Stratford. Caring grandmother to Joey (Karen), Johnny, David (Rochelle), Philip (Heather), Michael, Rachel (Brandon), Peter, Julie (Ian), Keith (Alsion), Christopher, Eric, Sarah, and Justin. Devoted great grandmother to Tyler, Max, William, Joey, Luke, Henry, and Colton. Sister of Eduarda Riquinha, and the late Art Da Costa, Jose Da Costa, and Manuel Da Costa. Laura will be remembered for her avid gardening, volunteer work for meals on wheels, her many years at North American Plasics, and her love and devotion to her family and faith. The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2-4, and 7-9 PM Wednesday with parish prayers at 3:30PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday January 29 at 12 noon at Our Lady of Christian Help Church. Interment to follow at Riverview Cemetery. If desired, remembrances to the Alzheimer’s Society may be left at the funeral home.
