The Chatham-Kent Public Library is teaming up with the Sydenham Curling Club to get more children interested in curling.
The Learn to Curl program will run at the Sydenham Curling Club with an interactive storytime followed by a chance for kids to learn some curling basics on the ice with an SCC Little Rocks instructor.
The Learn to Curl storytime will take place Friday, November 21 from 2-3pm, and is geared toward children ages five to eight, however organizers say everyone is welcome.
Those between the ages of five and 13 with a signed waiver will be allowed on the ice. Children who are going on the ice must have clean indoor shoes and a helmet.
Activities will be available for younger siblings or those who do not want to go on the ice.
