A local football club is doing its part to support the hospital’s diagnostic imaging equipment campaign.
Candice Jeffery, Director of Development with the Foundation of CKHA says the Chatham-Kent Cougars’ Punt, Pass and Kick fundraiser is a natural fit with the DI campaign.
“So many athletes, whether you’re a kid athlete, or a semi professional or professional, you need the equipment at the hospital,” says Jeffery. “For concussions, pulls and strains, broken bones, those are all supported by this diagnostic equipment.”
Cougars’ players have been raising money and collecting donations for the campaign over the last few weeks.
The contest itself runs today through Friday at the Chatham-Kent Athletic Complex behind CKSS.
