Leon’s Buys Up Scout Christmas Trees To Give Away

Leon’s furniture store in Chatham is getting into the Christmas spirit once again.

Chatham 19th Scouts have been selling Christmas trees as a fundraiser to support the club’s activities through the year.

Leon’s owner Ken Edwards has purchased all remaining Christmas trees to give away, free of charge.

“We can support youth in the community and help families that need assistance have a happy Christmas by donating these great trees,” Edwards says.

The tree lot has been moved to a new location this year, between Bob’s Motor Sports and Affinity Distinctive Jewellery on St Clair Street just north of Gregory Drive.

The trees will be available, first come first served, as of 5pm on December 11.
