Shaun Suisham of the Pittsburgh Steelers, a Wallaceburg, Ontario product, will be one of the NFL’s leading contenders for a Pro Bowl position this season…if he can garner the votes.
Suisham is currently on the NFL’s Pro Bowl voting ballot.
The ballot, which can be found by CLICKING HERE, allows fans to vote for their favourite players until January 9, 2015.
The 2015 NFL Pro Bowl is scheduled to take place January 25, 2015.
A kicker, Suisham, who is 32, is in his 10th NFL season, has moved into discussion as the Steelers’ all-time greatest kicker. This season he has gone 18-for-20 on field goal attempts, and is 100% on point after attempts.
On kickoffs, he’s averaging close to 63-yards per kick.
This week, the Pittsburgh Steelers had a bye week, but are back in action Sunday, November 30 when they host the New Orleans Saints.
