Libraries Starting To Slowly Reopen

Local libraries are slowly starting to re-open across Chatham-Kent today.

The Chatham-Kent Public Library is planning for staggered re-openings while offering limited services inside local branches.

The Chatham branch is back open on Wednesdays starting today from 4 to 8PM as well as Saturdays from 1 to 5PM beginning this weekend.

Wallaceburg will be open Fridays from 1 to 5 starting this week, and Tuesdays 4 to 8PM beginning next week.

The Thamesville branch will offer services on Thursdays starting tomorrow from 1 to 5.

Municipal officials say their goal is to have most branches open for short periods of browsing and pick-ups by the end of September.
