The past, present, and future of farming will be in the spotlight in Thamesville this evening.
Nicole Vanrabaeys created a documentary on the life of a farmer for her studies at the University of Windsor, and will be screening the film at the Thamesville Legion tonight.
She says farming is unlike any other job in the world and has changed so much over the years.
“I found that a lot of older farmers aren’t using the technology and devices that aren’t available – it’s mostly the younger farmers. You really need to have the younger farmers if you want a future in farming.”
Doors open at 7:30 this evening. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted for the Thamesville Sertoma Club.
