
Two people remain in hospital following a collision in Chatham over the weekend.
According to Chatham-Kent Police, a vehicle collided with a motorized scooter at the intersection of Richmond Street and Inshes Avenue just after 10 o’clock Saturday night.
Authorities say the vehicle was heading east on Richmond when the scooter, which was traveling northbound on Inshes, entered the intersection.
Two men on the scooter, a 41 year-old and 28-year-old, were taken to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance before being transferred to Windsor Regional Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The two occupants in the vehicle were not hurt.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service Traffic Management Unit has taken over the investigation, and is looking to speak with any witnesses.
