A Wallaceburg man is facing charges after pilfering a generator from the Chatham Walmart Tuesday.
Police say the 30-year-old simply took the item off the shelf and waltzed out the front door.
By the time officers arrived he was gone, but witnesses were able to describe the vehicle and the suspect.
Officers noticed the vehicle in Wallaceburg a half hour later and arrested the man.
He’s due back in court at the end of the month.
