With the first big camping weekend of the year just a few days away, the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority is warning area residents to keep their expectations low.

The Authority has announced with the stay-at-home order camping will be limited at Big Bend, C. M. Wilson and E. M. Warwick.

There will be no transient or overnight camping allowed. If you have are a seasonal camper you must spend less than 24 hours for an essential purpose, or 14 consecutive days as per a seasonal contract.

Washrooms and showers will only be open at C. M. Wilson, and only to seasonal campers. Under the order Ontarians can visit cottages or second homes for less than 24 hours for an essential purpose, or a minimum of 14 consecutive days.
