- 3 lb. chicken,
- ¼ cup oil
- 28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
- 1 clove garlic (1/2 tsp. garlic powder)
- 1 tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. black pepper
- 2/3 cup white wine
- 12 oz. pkg. noodles or 1 lb. spaghetti
Wash and cut chicken in pieces. Put 2 or 3 teaspoons salt in rinsing water. Rinse, then drain well. Brown clove of garlic and chicken on all sides. Add wine, tomatoes, garlic (if garlic powder is used), salt and pepper. Simmer all ingredients 45 mins. Cook noodles according to pkg directions. Pour over sauce mix. Serves 4 to 5.
