Most Ontario grade 10 students are doing well when it comes to reading and writing.school-apple-300x198

Results from the province’s standardized literacy test show 81% of eligible students were successful, with an overall success rate in the low to mid 80s.

However it seems those in the academic stream are faring better, with 92% passing the EQAO tests, while only 44% of those in applied course were successful.

An online test was initially issued last October but was hacked, forcing students to try it again in March using pencil and paper.

Individual board results are expected to be released next month.
