Live streaming of Chatham-Kent council meetings could soon be a reality.
Municipal staff is recommending a six-month pilot project be put in place for the fall.
The plan would see a live audio stream be put together with a fixed camera to cover the meetings.
The total cost of the project would be no more than $5,000.
After the six month pilot, a report regarding usage and long-term costs would return to council.
The issue will be discussed in Council Chambers Monday night.
