The Lambton-Kent District School Board is creating a new position in its governance.
After a unanimous decision, the Lambton-Kent District School Board is creating a new position for an Indigenous Student Trustee.
They say the new position will help further reflect the perspectives of Indigenous students in Board decisions.
A student will be elected into the position in September.
The Thames Valley District School Board was the first board in Canada to elect an Indigenous Student Trustee.
