Students with the Lambton Kent District School Board will once again have the option of learning from home next fall.

The public board in Chatham-Kent and Lambton County has confirmed it will continue to offer virtual learning for both elementary and secondary students in grades three through 12 for the 2024-25 school year.

The virtual learning program is intended to be permanent for the entire school year, and officials say once signed up, families will not be able to opt in our out of either in-person or virtual learning through the 24-25 school year. However, exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Virtual school officials will be in touch with registered families during the week of August 26th to arrange for proof of Ontario residency.
