Occasional elementary teachers working for the Lambton-Kent District School Board now have a new contract.
The public school board and the Occasional Teachers of the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario announced on Wednesday that both parties have ratified a new collective agreement.
“We look forward to continued collaborative efforts that support success for every student, every day,” said board chair Randy Campbell.
The collective agreement is effective from September 1, 2022 to August 31, 2026. Further details about the contract have not been released.
The board announced in April that a new collective agreement had also been ratified for permanent and occasional teacher members of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation of Ontario, District 10.
