It’s going to be another week of scrambling and child-care for many parents in the area.
The Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario has two strike days affecting the Lambton-Kent District School Board.
Today is another rotating strike, targeting a handful of boards across the province, and tomorrow will be a province-wide walkout as contract talks with the government drag on.
At this point, no new talks are scheduled between the Ministry of Education and the teachers’ union.
Meantime, French teachers are joining the strike action this week, hitting the picket line on Thursday.
