LKDSB Launches App To Keep Local Families Informed

The local public school board has launched a new mobile app to keep families and community partners better connected and informed.

The Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB) recently released the MyLKDSB app, which allows users to customize their experience by following the board and any specific schools of their choosing.

Users can program notifications to ensure they receive updates on important events and school news directly to their devices.

“We live in a time where families are experiencing information overload while online. Our goal with the MyLKDSB app is to ensure that families have quick, easy access to the information they need -and want- in order to feel fully engaged in their child’s school experience,” said Caress Lee, LKDSB’s public relations officer, in a news release.

The app is available for download on the iOS App Store and Android Play Store.

The release of the app coincides with the launch of the school board’s newly refreshed website, which can be found by clicking here.
