Federal conservatives will be heading the polls today.
Two nomination meetings are being held in the riding of Lambton-Kent-Middlesex to replace retiring MP Bev Shipley. The first takes place in Dresden tonight, with another in Strathroy tomorrow.
There are six candidates in the running: Pete Aarssen, Peter Cuddy, Greg Hetherington, Mattheu Kok, Bruce Lamb, and Lianne Rood.
Nominees will give speeches at 6:00 tonight at Ken Houston Memorial Arena, with voting taking place until 9:00.
Tomorrow morning’s event in Strathroy beings with nominee speeches at 10:00, followed by voting until 2:00pm.
