An independent feature film shot within Chatham-Kent is set to make its debut at an upcoming premiere.
The horror-thriller “Either Way” will premiere on May 10 at Studio One in Chatham, with the production team calling it a major step for the Chatham-Kent film community.
The movie, which was produced by a local team of young filmmakers, follows the story of Anthony, a young woman who begins to unravel a disturbing plot that leads her to uncover a tragic truth about her past.
“We set out to explore themes of betrayal, loneliness, and consequence in a thrilling and satisfying mystery—one that is brought to life by the unwavering dedication of our crew. I couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve created,” said Cameron Dube, the film’s director, in a news release. “This movie is a reflection of the incredible talent we have in Chatham-Kent, and we hope it’s just the beginning of many more films to come from Together House.”
Members of the production team said they are eager to showcase the final project and hope it puts the municipality on the map as a hub for independent filmmaking.
Tickets to the premiere are $20 each, with the option of two show times at 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. The purchase tickets contact Together House at [email protected] or through Facebook at @Either Way and Instagram at @either_way_movie.
