Community Living Wallaceburg is asking local residents to dine out for a good cause this month.
From November 27 to December 1, several restaurants in Chatham and Wallaceburg will be taking part in GivingTuesday, a global movement that has raised over 20 billion dollars to date.
“This worldwide initiative shifts its gaze from consumerism to giving, shining a light on those in need and the non-profit organizations that support them,” Community Living said in a news release.
Quo Vadis Pizzeria and Boston Pizza in Chatham, as well as The Stubby Goat, Quo Vadis Pizzeria, Beef Meatz Bun, The Black Goose Grill, and The Glasstown Brewing Company in Wallaceburg, will all be offering specials during the week of Giving Tuesday. A portion of the sales will then be donated to Community Living Wallaceburg.
