A trio of local residents were among thousands of people who ran in the 126th annual Boston Marathon.

Joe Perry of Wallaceburg, Rod Fraser from Mooretown, and Krista Cranston of Chatham completed the race Monday, running alongside the roughly 30,000 participants who qualified for the event.

Cranston competed in the 40-44 Division, finishing 682nd with a time of three hours and 38 minutes.

Perry finished 590th in the 50-54 Division with a time of three hours and twenty minutes.

Fraser finished in four hours and seven minutes, placing 224th in the 65-69 division.
