Cold Kocked is the combination of two local groups – Kage Productions & Fletcher Munson, mixing up the genres of Hip Hop and Alternative Rock.
Kage Productions has been involved in the underground Hip Hop world for the past 15 years , and the boys from Fletcher Munson have been around for the past 15 years as well.
Derek and Kage from the Fletch were listening to some tunes from Boston George & Kage called Rhythm and Rap and were instantly intrigued. The sound was a combo of real guitar licks mixed with Hip Hop. The Munson artists felt they could come up with some tunes with the combination of both groups as one.
A few weeks later Derek and Doug from the Fletch came by Kage Productions Shop and began banging out tunes every Thursday night. It wasn’t long before they set out to come up with a small EP to see what would happen.
Since that time, Cold Kocked has released a 6 song EP, have accumulated 1000+ downloads and have handed out over 500 cds.
