Mark Blayney, a singer-songwriter born and raised in Sarnia, Ontario, offers a mixture of country, light rock and gospel songs,

Mark started his musical career at the age of seventeen entertaining the nightclubs in Southwestern Ontario.

He incorporated humour to his stage shows with novelty hats and one-liner comedy.

In 1991 Blayney won the local CCMA Bud Country Talent Search and went on to compete at a national level. In 1995 he appeared on CFPL (Channel 10 London) showcasing six of his originals on a T.V show called “Country’s Inn”.

In 2001 Mark worked with Soundhouse Studios John Jamieson who produced Blayneys “Distant To Me” and a song called “Forever Yours”.

He attends many of the Nashville Songwriter Association meetings in Toronto to get his songs critiqued by music industry A&R Reps.

Mark Blayney now in 2011 has an acoustic album out called “Just Me And My Guitar” which contains 10 of his best heart-felt ballads.
