Christian Vegh
Specialty – Blues Rock /Jazz

(Vocal/Lead Guitar/Songwriter) 16 yrs. Honour student in Assumption’s International Baccalaureate Music Program. He was named Regional Jazz Musician of the Year and won gold at an International Competition in New York. He has won Long and McQuade’s Battle of the Bands and the Battle of the Bands for Cancer. Christian has performed at Sonny Rhodes Induction into the Hall of Fame; BB Kings in Nashville and has performed with Susan McNeil at the International Children’s Games (10,000 people).

His favourite musicians are Joe Bonamassa Billboard Magazines #1 Blues Guitarist (who tweeted about Red Legacy); Eric Johnson; Jeff Beck;Guthrie Govan; Stevie Ray Vaughan; Pink Floyd and Rush. He has studied music theory with Brian Zanier (Assumption); guitar/theory Lee Cochrane (Long & McQuade); and Vocal/Guitar/Songwriting Pete Palozzolo Canadian Conservatory of Music. He is currently working on songwriting for Red Legacy’s first CD for production at Marty Bak Studios March 2014. He is also working on a “Blues in School” project and an Internship/Co-op placement in Music. Christian has been featured on Bob Steele’s (CBC) “The Bridge” show and has been chosen to be a Role Model/Representative for an “Anti-Addiction Youth Music Campaign”. Career highlight – catching the attention and hearing encouragement from musicians like Joe Bonamassa, Alex Lifeson (Rush), Dick Wagner (Musician/Songwriter -Alice Cooper) as well as huge support from my local musician idols.

McKenzie Burrows
Specialty – Classic Rock / Progressive Rock

(Drums) 16 yrs. Gr. 10 Sandwich Secondary student who comes from a family of drummers. His father John Burrows (co-founder Brand “X” and brother Jeff Burrows, drummer for Canadian power trio “The Tea Party” and “Krash Karma”, and uncle of “The Indecent” Nicholas Burrows. McKenzie has been playing since he was 6 yrs. old including 3 years in Drum Corps. He has been taught by his dad and Lee Cochran from Long & McQuade and his school music teachers are Scott Bastien and Dean Valentino. He plays hard, clean and fast in traditional Burrows fashion. His favourite musicians are Neil Pert, Rush, Queens of the Stone Age, Billy Talent, Buddy Rich. Career highlight – rockin’ crowd and signing autographs at Tecumseh Cornfest, and meeting and getting downloaded by kids from all over the world when we headlined at the Riverfront Plaza for the Children’s Games – Passport to the World.
