A tattoo fundraiser held in Chatham on Sunday at Crow & Anchor Tattoo company has raised more than $21,157.
The event raised money for Sick Kids Hospital on Sunday. Owner Neil Malcolm says he held the fundraiser in honour of his nephew who spent time with Sick Kids.
He was born with health problems and had his first surgery at approximately 6 months old.
He has had approximately 12 surgeries in his life and he’s 10 years old.
He says he didn’t know how big it would end up being but he is amazed by the support from the community and he was tattooing until 2 Monday morning.
They also held a raffle and sold t-shirts to raise money.
The fundraiser was also to honour their recent move to a larger location.
Money is still coming in to the cause.
