Chatham-Kent’s library is giving local teens a way to give back to their community this holiday season.

Youth aged 12-18 are being invited to take part in this year’s “Cards with a Cause” event at the Chatham branch of the Chatham-Kent Public Library on November 21.

Between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., teenagers can join library staff in the meeting room to create hand-made cards that will be delivered to seniors at Riverview Gardens over the holidays.

Those in high school can also count the event toward their volunteer hours.

No registration is required and all supplies will be provided.
