The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance is another step closer to its fundraising goal to help revitalize the Wallaceburg hospital.

Members of the Sydenham Auxiliary are donating $100,000 towards project.

Chair Mary Cole says the group of volunteers is proud to support such a worthy cause.

As part of the funding agreement with the Ministry of Health, the CKHA Foundation is responsible for raising $9-million of the project’s estimated $41-million cost.

The Municipality of Chatham-Kent pledged $4.5-million in early 2023.

The CKHA Foundation will also be launching a summer 50/50 draw on July 2nd with proceeds going to the revitalization.
