The Children’s Treatment Center Foundation of Chatham-Kent is getting $25,000 from a local wind company.
Erieau East Lake Wind LP and East Lake St. Clair Wind are donating the cash towards the Butterfly Building campaign.
The plan is to build a new 50,000 sq. ft. facility on McNaughton Ave. in Chatham. The campaign goal is $6-million, officials say they’ve already raised two-thirds of that.
Since building the current facility in the 80s, the CTC-CK has grown from serving 224 to more than 3,200 children in 2018.
