The Chatham-Kent Public Library wants to bring people together.
Megan Cowan is a librarian with the public library and says the “friends speed dating” program is for 20 and 30 somethings.
“It’s kind of like traditional speed dating so everybody will get 2 minutes to chat with everyone else. We’l rotate around the room until everyone has met. Then after, we invite everyone to stick around and play some board games. This is way better than traditional speed dating. It’s all the fun without all of the awkwardness.”
The February 16th event is free, but pre-registration is required.
