One of Wallaceburg’s most travelled overpasses is scheduled to close intermittently early next month.

The Municipality of Chatham-Kent said the Lord Selkirk Bridge over the Sydenham River will be closed for rehabilitation for approximately five days starting on May 2.

Landform Civil Infrastructures Inc. has been commissioned to repair the span lock on the bridge.

The bridge will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. and a traffic detour will be in place daily for the duration of the work.
