A blast of winter weather is heading towards southern Ontario.

Chatham-Kent will be spared the brunt of the system, which is expected to dump as much as 10 cm of snow on areas around the GTA.

However, officials with Environment Canada say a strong low pressure system is expected to bring gusty southeasterly winds early tomorrow morning. The wind is expected to ease off late in the afternoon.

Ontario Provincial Police have issued a winter driving advisory for most of the West Region tomorrow with the potential for freezing rain, snow, and strong winds in some areas.
