A local nature lover is being honoured for his work.
Michael Smith has been given the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority’s Environmental Award for Outstanding Individual.
Smith founded the group ReLeaf CK, and has undertaken a number of projects including new subdivision tree plantings, a tallgrass pollinator project, and community outreach.
The honour was handed out during the LTVCA’s AGM, held virtually yesterday.
