Another day, another stepping stone for Wallaceburg’s Madison Broad.
The Chatham ‘Y’ Pool Shark is competing this week at the Orlando Grand Prix (Arena Pro Swim Series) in Florida. Broad is swimming against World and Olympic caliber competitors and champions over the three day meet from March 3-5.
Maddy recently brought home two gold medals in the 50 and 100 metre backstroke events from the Speedo Eastern National Championships.
Broad has been turning heads within the swimming world for years. 2016 seems to be a leap-pad for Madison, who is competing and excelling at her highest level to date.
Pool Sharks head coach told 99.1 CKXS and CKSN.ca that Maddy has been involved in a lot of conversations at pool decks during these high profile events.
