Staff at Chatham’s P-A-W animal shelter are trying to find the owner of an 8-year-old male boxer.
Jason Hamm, the Manager of Animal Control Services, says staff at the shelter came into work this morning and found the dog in their locked compound. They were unable identify the person who left him there, after reviewing their surveillance cameras.
Animal Control Services has opened an investigation for possible abandonment.
