A Wallaceburg man is facing a number of charges after a bizarre incident over the summer.
Back on August 18th a man was walking his dog on Wallace Street when he crossed paths with another man walking his two dogs. The suspect began yelling at the victim and the dogs started barking at each other. The victim tried to walk away, but was again approached by the suspect. The accused allegedly threatened the man and his dog with a small knife. The victim eventually walked away and called police.
Fast forward to yesterday– police managed to identify the accused and issued a warrant for his arrest.
The 55-year-old was located yesterday afternoon and charged with uttering threats, weapons dangerous, and two counts of possession of a prohibited weapon.
