Chatham-Kent police arrested an individual following an assault complaint in Wallaceburg.
They spoke with a woman who told them a man had shoved her into a wall, and had threatened her previously.
Police tracked the man down and charged him with assault, and uttering threats.
He was held pending a bail hearing.
