
A local man has been arrested after a road rage incident in Chatham left another man with minor injuries.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said two vehicles sideswiped each other on St. Clair Street shortly before 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday. After both vehicles pulled off the road, an altercation took place where one of the drivers, a 63-year-old Chatham man, was assaulted.
The man suffered minor injuries but did not require medical assistance.
Police responded to the scene and arrested the other driver.
A 32-year-old Chatham man is now charged with one count of assault. He was later released from custody with a future court date.
