A local man had to be taken to hospital after he was attacked by his roommate in Blenheim.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a residence on Marlborough Street shortly before 9 p.m. on Saturday, after a man struck his roommate in the head multiple times as he lay in bed.
The victim, a 28-year-old man, was taken to hospital with unspecified injuries for further assessment.
As a result, a 32-year-old Blenheim was arrested and charged with one count of assault. He was later released with conditions and a future court date.
