A broken window has led to the arrest of a Chatham man.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to a disturbance at a business on Grand Avenue West at around 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, and arrived to find that damage had been caused to one of the windows.
Authorities learned that a man had been yelling, damaging property and making threats toward the public. A suspect was located a short distance away and was taken into custody.
A 27-year-old Chatham man is now charged with mischief under $5,000. He was later released with conditions and a January court date.
