A Wallaceburg man is facing several charges after a woman was assaulted and threatened multiple times.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a domestic disturbance at a Wallaceburg residence on Wednesday shortly after 2 p.m. to find that a woman had been physically assaulted.
Following an investigation, authorities learned that the woman had also been threatened and assaulted during past incidents.
As a result, a 64-year-old Wallaceburg man is now charged with assault, assault by choking, and four counts of uttering threats to cause death. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
